Wondering

about something?

I'm happy to help.

What if I'm not sure we're ready?

That's exactly what the free 15-minute discovery call is for. We can talk about what's going on, answer your questions, and see whether working together feels like a good fit.

When should I start working on sleep with my baby?
Whenever you're ready! Newborn "sleep shaping" can start right away, but I generally wait until a baby is 3 months old to introduce formal sleep training methods, as long as your baby is healthy, gaining weight, and approved by their pediatrician. For many families, 12 to 16 weeks is an ideal window.

The best timing also depends on your life. Preparing to go back to work, managing a busy household with other children, or pausing around upcoming travel are all worth thinking about.

Ultimately, it's never too late to help your child build better sleep habits. Whenever you decide the time is right, I'm here to support you every step of the way.

Will I have to let my child "cry it out" all night?

Many parents worry about this, and that's completely understandable. It doesn't feel good to hear your child cry. "Cry it out" (also called full extinction) is only one of many approaches, and I rarely suggest it unless a family specifically asks for it. Instead, we choose methods that fit your parenting style and values, so you can be as hands-on or hands-off as you're comfortable with.

That said, any time you change a child's routine, a little protest is normal. Kids love predictability, so shaking things up can bring some resistance. It's temporary, and giving your child the lifelong gift of independent sleep is well worth it.

Why work with a sleep consultant?
If what you've been doing isn't working anymore and you're not sure where to start, a sleep consultant can be a game-changer. Most parents don't have time to sort through conflicting advice online, read dozens of books, or piece together a plan. I do that research for you and look beneath the surface to find what's really behind your child's sleep struggles. Then I walk beside you every step of the way with expert guidance, encouragement, and accountability. By the end of our time together, you'll feel confident and empowered to handle your child's sleep.
Do you use a certain sleep training method?
Any approach that encourages independent sleep counts as "sleep training," and methods range from gradual and hands-on to quicker and hands-off. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all. After we talk through your child's age, development, and your family's routine, I lay out age-appropriate, evidence-based options so you can choose what feels right to you. That might mean blending a few strategies, which happens all the time! Everything I recommend follows safe sleep guidelines, and my goal is for you to feel 100% confident and comfortable with your plan.
What ages do you work with?

I work with children ages 3 months to 7 years old, from baby sleep and nap schedules to toddler bedtime struggles and the move from crib to bed.

Do you work virtually?

Yes. I'm based in Indiana and support families everywhere through calls, text, and voice messages, right where your child sleeps.

What makes your approach different?

I don't believe in rigid, identical sleep plans. Every child and every family is different, so I build a personalized plan around your child's age and development, your parenting style, and your goals. I focus on the root causes of sleep struggles instead of surface tips, and I teach you the tools so the change lasts and your home can stay well rested.
